This will mark Jennifer's 7th year with SHA. Her BA in Music has given her opportunities to work for multiple conservatories, symphonies and orchestras. She currently teaches at Rock Creek Christian Academy and has 50+ private music students. Jennifer has taught Music, Music Theory/Appreciation and Spanish at SHA but is doing only private music lessons this year.

Her third year involved in SHA, Kate majored in journalism and minored in creative writing at Ball State University. She has participated and completed the NaNoWriMo challenge four times (2010, 2013, 2015, 2016) and is currently working on the coming year’s NaNoWriMo project. Kate writes for The Salem Leader-Democrat, where she has won approaching 20 state and national industry awards!

Welcome to the SHA team, Ms. Vines! Stephanie schooled at Northern KY University and studied Public History with focus on US History/America during the Cold War. She worked four years for the National Park Service and currently is Office Manager at the Washington County Historical Society, Depot Railroad Museum. A good friend of hers, (A.K.), is quoted, "Stephanie loves history and is adamant about learning and knowing our country's past!"

Virginia (homeschool mother of three - two graduated - has returned to SHA! After instructing 2 years of Beginning/Advanced Sewing courses and private penmanship lessons, she is now happy to deliver excellence in the English education department. With her BA in Home Economics from U of L, and plethora of experience/credentials, she is competent and qualified to teach any Grammar, Composition and Literature class your student needs.

From Lima, Vanessa graduated from
world renowned Culinary Arts Institute Le Cordon Bleu Peru. She is currently the Chef/Owner at V's Gourmet to Go. With Spanish being her native tongue, she is fluent and proficient in the language and is eager to teach her first Spanish class at SHA.

Dusty took a year off SHA and attended the Culinary Institute of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawai’i, including a summer intensive in Mandarin, where she obtained her certification as a ServSafe Food Protection Manager and FDRP Dining Room Associate in Fine Dining. While there, she lived and learned on a permaculture farm. Dusty has a bachelor's degree in English, a master's in Liberal Arts. She holds eight years of active Marines duty.
